The CODIS (Organising Committee of the International Sella River Descent) is in charge of the organisation of this sporting event.

Currently, the CODIS is chaired by Juan Manuel Feliz, winner of the Descent in 1968 along with José Luis Gutiérrez Soto. Other members are:
